Haku Shibari is, above all, a passion. A passion for rope, a passion for connection, born between Camille Haku and Alex Haku , students of the association Au fil des cordes . The encounters they have had in recent years have nurtured their love for the art of shibari, but above all, their love for rope .

The rope, this tool that becomes an extension of the body , the instrument of your emotions , the link that allows you to create a unique moment between rigger and model . It's not just a simple piece of string. The rope has a soul that is sublimated and shaped with each use. 

At Haku Shibari, we are committed to designing a product that is as respectful as possible of the body and the environment . After more than a year of research and development, we are proud to offer a French alternative to "traditional" ropes, which are often imported.

We chose to showcase our Normandy region by using flax fiber . This fiber has the advantage of offering superior softness compared to hemp fiber, making our ropes ideal for direct skin contact. But the softness of our ropes in no way compromises their strength ; they are perfectly suited for your suspension lines .

We work with a traditional French rope maker . Our ropes are then prepared in our workshop in Normandy, where we take the time to treat and inspect every centimeter to ensure they are perfect for shibari practice. All that remains is for you to bring out their beauty through your own practice.
